About Liz Bennefeld
I am a freelance writer and style editor with a love for photography. My husband and I, transplanted Minnesotans, now live in the Red River Valley of eastern North Dakota.
I enjoy writing poems and short prose pieces and combining them with my photographs. At RedBubble.com you'll find some postcards, greeting cards, and Wall Art with my designs. Please let me know if you would like to purchase Red Bubble items, JPGs, or larger prints of any other of my photographs.
I’m sure we played more like your summer games. However, many games translate away from winter fairly well. {SMILE}
I hope the appointment went well. {Smile}

It hadn’t occurred to me, but I suppose you must have had equivalents. We did play different sorts of games in the summertime. Oops! Looks like my 8:30 is late, rather than a no-show.
When I was a kid, our forts weren’t made out of snow, and our fights featuered balls and leaves, not snow. The sledding was on grass and sand, but quite fun just the same. {REALLY BIG GRIN}

I can remember doing the same thing when I was little. There were lots of kids in our neighborhood. The snowball fights were the most fun.
I also enjoyed sledding. My dad used to take us out into the country to some hills along his rural mail route where although the climb up the hill was long, the ride down was fabulous.
I bet they do have fun with a fort like that one! {REALLY BIG GRIN}

Oh my. That is a nice hidey-hole. Who is it for? {SMILE}

That’s in the neighbors’ front yard. They have an 8-year-old (I think). He and his friends spend time playing together after school. They have lots of fun.
