Day of the Dead

Leaves cover his grave

shadows brush across my heart

remember, again

Instead of doing the NaNoWriMo, this year, I am going to try to write a poem for each day of November.

About Liz Bennefeld

I am a freelance writer and style editor with a love for photography. My husband and I, transplanted Minnesotans, now live in the Red River Valley of eastern North Dakota. I enjoy writing poems and short prose pieces and combining them with my photographs. At RedBubble.com you'll find some postcards, greeting cards, and Wall Art with my designs. Please let me know if you would like to purchase Red Bubble items, JPGs, or larger prints of any other of my photographs.

  1. A poem a day sounds like a neat goal. It’s challenging, but not impossible. {Smile}

    Best of luck with it. {SMILE}
