The Red River Valley
With its varied beauty and extremes of weather and terrain, the Upper Midwest has much to offer by way of photographic subjects. I especially love the wintertime—frost on the windowpanes, snow on the branches, and the way the wind whistles around corners to drop its snowflakes in drifts several feet high. I have been posting a lot of these photos on my pages at JPGMag.com, but the photos are ordered there by the date that I uploaded them, rather than by theme, and so I hope to present some of my favorites in a more ordered fashion.
